Environmental chambers are varies from different test application and purpose in different industry and usage. Customer needs to know which spesific application they needed since environmental chambers can be used for various types of testing such as production testing, reliability testing, failure analysis,prototype evaluation, research & development testing, accelerated stress testing, and any other application where environmental simulation is needed.
Even the same test chamber requires different test requirements and testing conditions. Therefore, often we need to confirm what is your lowest temperature and the highest temperature in advance. For instance,different range of temperature humidity chamber -70°C to 150 °C, -40°C to 150 °C and -20°C to 150 °C ,our prices are different as well. Because the lower temperature you need, the more powerful compressor the chamber demand .
Whether is it possible to realise different test conditions in one chamber? Climate chamber can simulate virtually even any type of environmental conditions like temperature, humidity, vibration, altitude, solar, wind & rain, dust, vacuum etc. Mentek can combines temperature test, humidity test and vibration test as a whole chamber known as AGREE chamber, and we can also combines temperature, humidity,altitude as a whole integrated chamber.And this can help to save cost for our customer.
What specific test space is required and reasonable? Along Mentek standard size test chambers are available from 15L to 1.5 cubic foot of interior workspace,but not means that the biger size is the better for you. Sometimes there are many other factors we should consider, such as test specimen size,weight and quantity, laboratory size,and even
How to avoid problem of quality excess and quality incompetent? For example, our temperature range capabilities can be -70°C (-130°F) for cold chambers and 180°C (300°F) for the extreme high temperature chamber.There is unwise to choose -70°C if your testong requirement only requires lowest -40°C, otherwise,it is quality excess and will cost more money. And it's also wrong to choose 180 °C option on the condition that your highest temperature needs 150°C.
Material select. All Mentek standard chambers contain stainless steel interior with a powder-coated exterior finish. But stainless steel exterior also is ok. Some customer like it although it's not easy to clean even it's not as dirt resistant as powder-coated exterior finish.

Environmental testing is a process of subjecting a test specimen to various temperature and humidity conditions in order to determine the effect of these conditions on the test specimen. Often, this conditioning is conducted prior to other tests such as mechanical or package performance testing in order have the test specimen be exposed to a full range of potentially harmful temperature and humidity levels.Therefore, chamber calibration and test certification is vital for better test performance during testing.
